Political event
With widespread standard education in place due to the efforts of the Arenian Empire and the invention of the printing press, an environment formed that nurtured a thriving philosophical community across the realm. One of these ideas being Liberalism, an ideology based off of the Cicloist ideals of equality and then expanded upon to ideas of democratic governance, expanding suffrage to all, individual rights and the most radical at the time education as a right. It would spread with the works of authors like Tavian Tassis Tamayo from Conión, Moe Rivas Look from San Volta, Xonas Avina from Outeidade and Kalino Tuto from Navanui. In Talarena it was mostly viewed as a naive movement and best and a dangerous one at worst, and was countered with the idea of the perceived stability and longevity of Tiranism and Imperialism. Authors who would contribute to the ideal of a large and strong state were Álvaro Pozo Villa, of Conión, Koba Cutov of Albi, Ah tz'ib Zyanya of Koloxal, and Ceslovas Zdanowicz of Prezia.
The response from the Tiran, Primer Aimata Pozo Villa, was to put Tavian Tamayo under house arrest for most of his life, and Moe Look would be exiled from the United Kingdom of Charstania as the Kingdom claimed her works fueled the first first revolts in centuries. Meanwhile Liberalism would latch on the most in the Aredián Sea and Illagua where a tradition of democracy has already existed for quite some time. Other political ideologies would also sprout from this time such as Corporatism from author Anselmo Amaral of Forte Patli, Environmentalism from the Tepeu of Aya Iktan of Koloxal, and Anarquismo from Sebastian Brys of Dref Newydd.
