The Wars of Prezian Succession

The dynastic politics of Karieba would take a rather quick and sour turn as King Lucjan Pranka z Prezia would leave no clear heirs to the throne which left a Council Regency in place. This would cause a myriad of disputes across Karieba that would quickly evolve into wars for the right to the throne as the Council Regency would be completely unable to arbitrate the proper line of inheritance. This would also cause a chain reaction to Jarvköti where many of the Jarls who married up into the Pranka family would put forward their own claims to the throne of Prezia, battling with different Prezian Houses for the title in addition to themselves. Randish Clans would sell a much larger share of their products to the South Aredián Trade Company rather than Prezian nobles because of the difficulty of finding a client. This would raise the Teekond Clan to prominence as the largest providers of pelts, exotic animals, and other products that flow out of Kuria to Talarena at the trade outpost that will be known as Uus Laht. The Teekond Clan would welcome Cicloist Missionaries and convert to Cicloism themselves for better relations with Arenians.

However, the new wealth and power would attract the attention of other Clans, and they would begin attacks against the Teekond across Kuria, prompting the SCSA to send Mercenaries to protect caravans and ships. This was in clear violation of laws passed and enforced by the Navaleian Republic since the Barrel Wars put onto trade companies. Causing outrage in the Aredián as word spread around of Mercenaries being sent to Kuria led by a Trade Company that was not even owned by Arediáns, stirring up Anti-Tiran sentiment in the 1st Republic and the Illes de Turra, both of which has been more or less tolerant to the Tiran for more than 600 years.
Unexpectedly the war would eventually end in a victory for Opiekun Jagoda Pociska z Ryzyko, a low born Opiekun who converted to Cicloism that held control of the Duch Rzeka throughout the war and received support from the Arenian Empire through her Port Town that would be known as Stalowy Duch. Starting a new era of Cicloism being spread across Karieba and the influence of the Arenian Empire.
