The child King of Prezia Eryk Oleski Pociska, The Jarl of Pertama Aake Maijala, and Jahimeister of Uus Laht Egert Teekond would request the assistance of the Tiran at around the same time to fight their non-cicloist rivals. This request came at a very opportune time for the Arenian Empire, as their vassals and the people themselves were beginning to question the validity of the authority of the Tiran, and as these requests were brought to the attention of Primer Luna Salazar Badinsca she saw opportunity. The Primer declared that assistance would be provided and riled up the citizens across the Empire, including it’s vassals, as a protector of Cicloist across the realm and declared that Cicloism was threatened in Karieba. Prezian recordings however, would indicate that the truth was far more complicated.
It’s true that there was a rift between the Cicloist and God Worshiping population of Karieba, but people's loyalties in the end were not divided by religion but through familial ties. The factions united against the three Cicloist leaders had no evidence of intention to stop the growth of Cicloism. However the prevailing narrative was that Cicloism was under threat, and this galvanized the communities of Talarena to take action and a second Crusade had begun. The opposition to the Three Cicloist leaders would eventually be crushed by the overwhelming force of the Crusader reinforcements, giving the Tiran actual direct control of Karieban politics. By 1824, effectively the entirety of Karieba would be converted to Cicloism through the efforts of Missionaries from Terra Fracta, in part due to some overlap from Cicloism and the religion of Karieba.
