Founding

The societal collapse in Aya facilitated the rise of small Mafia States and roaming gangs that used fear, violence, and money to coerce their populations. Eventually they would start getting attacked by nearby Junta’s who wanted their supplies, forcing some to reach for an alliance with their fellow crime lords, though the talks for a large organization were mostly hollow. An agreement wouldn’t be reached until a loose assortment of gangs stumbled upon a mostly intact, underground Imperial Supply Depot full of pre-war resources on the southern edge of the Sierra Apia, that would be known as Deposita 5. The group's leader, Itiiti Letei, would emerge with unexpected prominence amongst the rest of the Mafia polities through coercion of both financial and violent means and lead the talks to finally get the settlements to unite under a treaty of cooperation amongst each other.

Now it’s to be noted that 2255 is not an entirely accurate year for the founding. Why it is the accepted year is because of the lack of alternative data, as documents from that time have all been changed to the year of 5555 on the 5th day of the 5th month. Likely from bureaucratic mismanagement in the form of a prank, general incompetence, drug induced delirium on the job or all of the above.
