Karina Andaheim aus Zechenburg VIII (ka-REE-nuh an-DA-heim aus zeh-KHEN-berg the ayth) is a very thin and short (standing at 5'2") calico-furred tabaxi that hails from Cathedral Luxemvald in Kaigan.
Until very recently, she was confined to a wheelchair due to severe poisoning of the toxic substance known as Life, passed in-utero to her from her mother prior to her birth. Her father Alexander Dimitryev aus Zechenberg XXI is the head of Aki Corp's division on cybernetics and Forged technology, and raised her by himself after her mother's passing during childbirth. She is a very sweet and curious person, sometimes embodying the idiom of "Curiosity killed the cat; but satisfaction brought it back".
Karina loves to tinker and always has the proper tools on her person to do so. She is currently employed by the Divine Seekers as the head of their Research and Development sector. Her main claim to fame, aside from designing the first functional semi-automatic firearm in Kaedo, is the technology she developed in secret using the start of her father's since abandoned research into Transference; a combination of magic and technology to allow one to project themselves into the body of a Forged by making alterations to the soul container (a Kaigan invention originally intended for housing the souls of the dead) to act as the receiver for the person's consciousness while their body remains in a sort of pod made to sustain the body until their return.
Like her father however, she has a tendency to obsess over a project even to her own physical detriment, a carry-over from her time spent piloting her Forged caretaker that her father built with her before her recent recovery.
