Zora

Within the realms where land and sea converge, the Zora reign as a people of elegant and enigmatic beings. With skin that shimmers like iridescent pearls, and eyes that reflect the depths of vast oceans, the Zora are truly a sight to behold. Possessing long lifespans that far surpass most mortals, they carry the wisdom of centuries, their memories a tapestry of history woven from the ebb and flow of time.   In their dazzling city of Zora's Domain, nestled beneath cascading waterfalls, the Zora flourish in harmony with both the terrestrial and aquatic realms. Their kinship with water runs deep, granting them unparalleled swimming prowess and an unparalleled affinity with the very essence of water. Though their demeanor is often serene, the Zora possess a fierce and protective nature, guarding their home with unwavering devotion.   Known Settlements: The two largest Zora cities can be found in Gyorgfell west of Termina and Parellis south of Labrynna. However these are only the cities they maintain above the oceans. Most Zora cities are found beneath the waves and so their people can be found far and wide across the ocean. In the past, they used to maintain domains in the lakes and rivers in Old Hyrule, but they were driven from Zora's Domain by Geozards.

Zora Features

  Age. Zoras reaches maturity by forty and can live up to two hundred years.   Size. Zora are larger than humans, averaging about 6-7 feet tall. Your size is Medium.   Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet   Low Light Vision. You can see in dim light within 30 feet of you as if it were normal light, and 10 feet in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Natural Armor. You have tough, scaly skin. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.   Amphibious. You can breathe both air and water. You have a swim speed equal to your walking speed and can swim up waterfalls.   Aquatic Constitution. You have resistance to Water damage.   Hydrokinesis. You know the Shape Water cantrip and can cast it as a bonus action. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Fog Cloud spell with this trait. Starting Starting at 5th level, you can can cast Tidal Wave with this trait. Once you cast Fog Cloud or Tidal Wave with this trait, you can't cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait.   Water Dependency. If you fail to immerse yourself in water for at least 1 hour during a day, you suffer 1 level of exhaustion at the end of that day. You can recover from this exhaustion only through magic or by immersing yourself in water for at least 1 hour.

Colouring and Markings
Zora have scaly skin with a darker shade alongside their limbs and back and a lighter shade alongside their face and front. These are typically bright colors of red, blue, green, and similar variations.
Geographic Distribution
Zora live wherever water is abundant. They once maintained domains within rivers and lakes, but long skirmishes with Geozards have pushed them out to seas. They have many ocean cities dotted along the bottoms of the seas, but their most prominent cities have a surface area where they can interact with surface dwellers.
