The waling women

Deep in the heart of the forest, there lived a woman who was known to all as the Wailing Woman. She was a tall, slender figure with long black hair and piercing green eyes that seemed to glow in the dark. She was said to be a sorceress, gifted with great powers that she used to bring terror to those who dared to enter her domain. The people of the nearby villages would often speak of her in hushed tones, warning their children never to venture too close to the forest lest they fall prey to her wickedness. But despite their warnings, there were always those who were curious enough to seek her out, to see for themselves if the rumors were true.   And so it was that a young girl named Eliza set out into the forest one day, determined to find the Wailing Woman and prove that she was nothing more than a myth. She walked deep into the forest, following the winding path that led her further and further away from the safety of her village.   As the sun began to set, Eliza came upon a clearing, and there, in the center, stood the Wailing Woman. She was more beautiful than Eliza could have ever imagined, with her long black hair flowing in the wind and her piercing green eyes that seemed to glow in the dark.   Eliza approached her cautiously, her heart pounding in her chest. But as she drew nearer, the Wailing Woman began to sing a haunting melody, her voice so beautiful that Eliza was entranced. She stepped closer and closer, unable to resist the pull of the sorceress's song.   And then, in an instant, everything changed. The Wailing Woman's voice turned into a bloodcurdling scream, and Eliza realized too late that she had been lured into a trap. She tried to run, but it was too late. The Wailing Woman's powers were too great, and Eliza was consumed by the darkness.   Years passed, and the people of the village continued to warn their children about the Wailing Woman, telling the tale of the young girl who had been lost to her forever. And so it was that the legend of the Wailing Woman lived on, a warning to all those who dared to enter the forest alone.   But even now, there are some who say that on quiet nights, when the moon is full and the wind is still, you can still hear the Wailing Woman's song echoing through the trees. And those who hear it know that they must run, for the Wailing Woman will not hesitate to claim her next victim.
