Without hesitation, Ragurath charged at the lich and plunged his sword into its side, shattering the phylactery and killing the lich. The townsfolk were overjoyed and grateful for Ragurath's bravery.
Word of his heroic deed quickly spread, and soon Tolgi, the god of honor and justice, took notice. Tolgi was impressed by Ragurath's bravery and selflessness and gifted him his own kingdom, Xemmoles, as a reward.
But that wasn't all. Arcanus, the god of magic itself, was also impressed by Ragurath's bravery and saw great potential in him. He bestowed upon Ragurath vast magical power, far beyond what any mortal could ever hope to possess. Ragurath used this power to create many powerful spells, including the legendary Wish spell.
