Keldorin
Keldorin is a remote, underdeveloped island located in the Xemmols nation. The island is primarily inhabited by a subjugated race of fish-like humanoids known as kuo-toa. The Xemmols have long exploited the kuo-toa for their labor, forcing them to work in mines and farms without proper compensation.
The island itself is rugged and wild, with untamed forests and rocky cliffsides. The few human settlements on the island are small and rudimentary, consisting of little more than simple huts and shacks. The Xemmols who live on the island are often rough and uneducated, with little respect for the environment or the kuo-toa they oppress.
Despite the difficult conditions, the kuo-toa have managed to carve out a unique culture on Keldorin. They worship their own deities, often in secret, and have developed their own language and customs. Their society is tightly knit, with a strong emphasis on community and collective responsibility.
The kuo-toa are a resilient people, but life on Keldorin is difficult and dangerous. The island is home to many predators, both on land and in the sea, and the kuo-toa are constantly at risk of injury or death from their hazardous work conditions. Despite these challenges, they remain determined to survive and resist their oppressors, hoping one day to gain their freedom and live in peace.
