Takeshi has long since wanted to climb the social ladder and become a member of the ruling class. It seems this Invasion has provided him with an opportunity to prove himself in battle and maybe show of his diplomatic skills and economic savvy.
An 'upstanding' sake merchant, he has thrown in with the party in the hopes of improving his families standing. Fame, glory, RESPECT! Sadly, his selfish nature did not serve him well in such tight confines with honest Samurai. Now has a Mark of Justice upon him that will not be dispelled until Tsushima is free of Mongolian occupation.
