Hypnosis is the Racial Ability of Iktomi
Hypnosis is a spell an Iktomi may use to trick others into giving them something they want, or doing something they'd otherwise not do. An Iktomi will make eye contact with the target in order to begin the Hypnosis. Once you look into an Iktomi's eyes, it is very difficult to look away - they are very charismatic and comfortable creatures to be around most of the time. If the target continues to make eye contact for three seconds or longer, the Hypnosis spell will be cast if the Iktomi makes a mental move to do so, as they now have the ability and "consent" of the target.
Once consent has been given, the target will continue to have control over themselves unless the Iktomi commands them otherwise. They will not be able to call for help, however, as they are unaware of the hypnosis. If the Iktomi asks for a valuable possession, a favor, or a dirty deed, the hypnotized will be more than happy to do so. The Iktomi has power to control the hypnotized for as long as they are within sight and earshot. If the hypnotized moves out of this range, the hypnosis will end.
