Racial Ability

A racial ability is a particular magical spell or ability that a person is able to use thanks to their race. Beast and Undead races can ONLY use magic if it is their racial ability. In contrast, Magic User races can learn ANY form of magic that exists. Many magic user races are still born with certain spells or abilities without having to learn them, making those spells a racial ability. Sometimes a race has a higher likelyhood of being born with an inherent ability, though it is not guaranteed for every member of the race- this is known as a "partial" racial ability.
