Vampire (Vam-Pyre)

Dark creatures of the night vampires are feared throughout the land by all those who know of their relatively new existance. Vampires are corpses kept alive through the magic of the original spell rewriting and redirecting any magic within their body to their vampiric feats, or by granting them the magic needed to stay alive. These corpses however are bloodthirsty, both literally and figuratively as they stalk into the night searching for blood to keep them satiated.

Culture

Common Dress code

While they don't have a specific dress code persay, many vampires will wear similar clothing during daytime with dark colours and heavy layers in vain attempts to protect them from daylight, Vampires commonly wear large broad-brimmed hats and tinted glasses in hopes of protecting them from burning up from a fire out of control.

Foods & Cuisine

Most vampires are able to eat standard human food though some find themselves getting sick after, but the one thing they all eat is blood. Blood is the key to vampiric life and continuing to function. This plasma helps keep the bodies greased and ready to keep going, and prevents them from desiccating. The only thing worse for a vampire than death is desiccating in a buried tomb where they are trapped in their body and can never die.
With all the different kinds of blood which exist, there is much debate in the broader vampiric community which tastes best. Near-all vampires agree that it comes from a humanoid of sorts, though most cannot agree whom or what blood type this is as even within a given race, blood flavour can differ. Some vampires construct entire murder mansions to have good stock of blood to taste from.
A vast majority of vampires however refuse to eat the blood of animals or unknown monsters. The blood of animals makes a vampire weak, and the blood of some monsters can have unexpected effects on the vampiric corpse. Titan Blood is a prized delicasy to vampires. It of course grants anyone power, but to a vampire its allure becomes all the more charming, even more hypnotic, and can permeate a vampires body more fully than a humans.   In addition to their love of blood, most vampires have a liking of alcohol and drugs because it can take the edge of bloodlust off for a time, without having to go on the hunt.

Ideals

Relationship Ideals

Though vampires typically retain most of their values they had in life, these values can become warped through their hunger and new dark impulses. Though frowned upon in other societies, within vampiric circles the sirelines who possess charming magic will often use it to hypnotise possible suitors.   Vampires often prize paramours who possess blood types they enjoy the flavour of, using their partners as living blood bags. They often see partners more as tools than as actual partners. But if a partnership truly develops it often ends in the vampire turning the other so they can live immortal lives. These partnerships often develop into polycules where the couple will rope a mortal into it as their joint bloodbag without the intention of turning them, feeding from the lucky, or unlucky donor until they die. In some cases though actual polycules of vampires develop into nests, or into groups who travel causing rashes of disappearing people and livestock.   Vampires who turn their partners see the allure of immortality as a sealing of an infinite relationship, the ultimate commitment to one another is to spend eternity together. To become immortal so that they may be together forever without fear knowing it can't go on forever, that likely one of them would have to spend some days alone. In the case of humans, most couples get 40 years together if that, but one day they'll both be gone from the mortal realm with no promise of finding one another in the lands beyond.   But this ultimate committment can sometimes lead to regret. The loss of precious little moments that comes with immortality wherein time is no longer precious, as well as regret if they grow apart from their immortal spouse. Mortals are afraid of waiting too long, losing the opportunity and not having another, not being able to wait. Vampires can wait as long as they want, they are immortal, but what do you do when you lose feelings for someone you're set to spend eternity with? Very messy and very bloody divorces.

Major organizations

Vampire Society is mainly scattered among individuals and dozens, maybe hundreds, possibly even thousands of small groups. Universally hoever there are four sirelines from whis all vampires are descended from, originating with each of the four vampires who are the progenitors of vampiric-kind.

Sirelines

The four sirelines are as follows, Dyrene, Carmic, Ossein, and Lucid.
Dyrene
Dyrene vampires are descended from Forsythia Mythralight. They possess powerful charming magic, physical abilities, and the ability to manipulate blood and create constructs from it.
Carmic
Carmic Vampires are descended from Rhodri Mythralight. Carmic vampires possess the most varied abilityset. They can change forms, summon animals, have powerful physical abilities, and some minor charming magic.
Ossein
Ossein Vampires are descended from Viktor Mythralight. Vampires from this sireline are outliers. Their vampirism is not easily hidden because of the way their bones harden and cover parts of their body. They are the strongest physically, but lack charming magic. They can manipulate their bones to reshape them, and sense the bones of others with a powerful ability known as "bonersense".
Lucid
Lucid Vampires are descended from Warren Mythralight. These Vampires possess dominion over their own minds and the minds of others. They aren't as physically strong as other vampires, but they can control and consume memories while charming mortals greater than any other.
