Arboreign Citadel

Arbor Reign Citadel rises proudly from the white sands of Astrapor’s tropical coastline, a gleaming marble pyramid temple that embodies the harmonious connection between the elements of Wood and Air. The citadel stands at the edge of the Spiral Sea, its steps extending almost to the surf, where waves lap against the smooth, polished stone. The air around the structure feels alive—warm tropical breezes swirl playfully, carrying the mingling scents of salt and blooming flowers. At sunrise and sunset, the citadel's pale surface takes on hues of gold and amber, shimmering like a celestial beacon.
The pyramid itself is carved from luminescent white marble veined with green and silver, which gleams in the sunlight and reflects the vibrant colors of the Spiral Sea. Etched into its sides are intricate reliefs of twisting vines and coiling gusts of wind, creating the illusion that the surface of the stone is in constant motion. The apex of the pyramid is crowned with a living tree—a massive banyan with roots that cascade down the sides of the citadel like an emerald waterfall. Its wide canopy stretches outward, its leaves rustling softly even in the gentlest breeze, creating an ever-present melody that seems to whisper ancient secrets.
Leading up to the pyramid's summit is a wide staircase flanked by marble railings carved to resemble intertwining branches. At regular intervals along the stairs are open platforms adorned with wind chimes, their tinkling notes carrying over the Spiral Sea and into the surrounding jungle. These chimes are crafted from a mixture of seashells, polished wood, and enchanted silver, their music imbued with magic that calms the mind and sharpens the senses.
Inside Arbor Reign Citadel, the structure feels open and airy, as though the walls themselves breathe. Vast archways allow the sea breezes to flow freely, filling the interior with the scent of salt and flowers. The floors are made of marble inlaid with intricate mosaics of green jade and turquoise, depicting scenes of lush forests merging with swirling winds and flight. Massive wooden columns, carved from ancient trees, support the high ceilings, their surfaces engraved with spiraling patterns that evoke whirlwinds and storms. Suspended from these ceilings are hanging gardens of exotic tropical plants, their roots dangling freely and swaying gently in the currents of air.
