Amethyst Wastes
The Amethyst Wastes is a vast desert that spans for miles and miles, its terrain barren and desolate. The sky above the wastes is often a bright shade of purple, a result of the crystalline dust particles that hang suspended in the air. The ground is littered with sharp, jagged rocks and small shrubs that have adapted to the harsh conditions.
In some places, towering spires of purple crystal can be seen jutting out of the ground, sparkling in the sunlight. The crystal formations are rumored to contain great power, attracting treasure hunters and adventurers from all over.
The temperature in the Amethyst Wastes is incredibly hot during the day and freezing at night, making it a difficult and treacherous place to travel through. Few settlements exist in the wastes, and those that do are small and isolated, relying on underground water sources to survive.
