Echo

An entity who's an echo is a type of mental duplication of a powerful spirit, who created the echo to perform a certain task/job in the spirit's absent.

According to Prof. Cynthia Cambric of the The Living Tree Archives, echoes are usually only used by divine spirits in order to perform tasks, that they which to oversee without having an avatar in play. While at first glance an echo and an avatar appear to be the same, they are indeed different forces that a divine and or powerful spirit can utilize. Where an avatar is just an extension of the divine's mind, an echo is an extension of the mind with a body and will of it's own. To put it simply, an Echo entity is an extension of a more powerful entity, an "echo" of that entity. While similar to a Simulacrum, echos are not illusion composed of ice or snow.

During the creation of a echo, the newly created entity has a completely new body, which has all of the abilities of the "main" spirit, if the spirit chooses so. The echo's body can look exactly like the spirit's body, except the spirit can choose to change the echo's appearance. The newly created echo will contain all or some form of the spirit's personality, again, the spirit can choose what personality trait is given to the echo. The echo does have a will of it's own, however it will think and behave like the original spirit, as well as containing some knowledge from the original. The spirit and the echo are able to communicate telepathically over any distance to each other, and therefore information can be easily shared. If the echo dies, all of it's energy and gained knowledge will rejoin the original spirit.
