2. Defense and Militia Law Purpose: Maintain readiness and security in all settlements. Key Points: Every able-bodied citizen aged 16–50 must serve in the local militia. Castellans oversee castle garrisons; Veldrins organize town guards. Regular musters and training exercises are mandatory.
