viinauor

Translated, roughly as 'shiny treasure', the viinauor is what the dragonborn use to trade. The popular coins of the human settlements are more or less useless in a trade as they are considered not shiny enough. The shinier the gems, the more worth they hold to the dragonborn. As such, many dragonborn spend hours shining their stones to perfection. But the shinier the gems, the less likely they will be to trade it as all dragonborn are natural hoarders and very possessive of their treasures.
