The LifeStone Pagoda
The Temple of the Eight where Eana is laid to rest.
Purpose / Function
Eana's greatest temple where she lived and was turned to stone. It is now her resting place.
Alterations
As the temple grew in popularity and it became a a common location for dwarves to pilgrimage so a new building was constructed for the worshiping to stay in while they remain. Over time statues of the other, lesser, gods were erected around Eana.
The pools of magic that riddle the land around the pagoda have been turned into a garden, a place of reflection for those who wish to do so. Since normal plants cannot grow in the magic rich soil everything that grows here is saturated in magic. The garden is a combination of these unique plants and crystals that grow from the high magic concentration. Someone has taken the time to sculpt some of these crystals.
Architecture
The temple itself is a beautiful pagoda made out of a rare stone and decorated with knotted filigree and encrusted with rubies and other red gemstones. The surrounding buildings are much simpler in design which only emphasizes the sheer Majesty of the building. This is where Eana's statue is located. In the main room next to her are the other gods, their statues much smaller than her's.
