Korus, the Summer Sovereign

Korus is the elder of the Sovreign twins, with his younger sister being Iliana, the Spring Sovereign. While Iliana is carefree and wild, Korus is more serious than his sister. Even so, Korus enjoys the many festivals and parties that places put on in honor of the Summer. While the Sun Sovereign Tokal does affect the weather, Korus is the one who brings drought and scorching days to many in Ashaar. Korus is among the esteemed guests of Tokal during the Solstice Festival held in Tokal's name. He is also Tokal's closest friend, despite Tokal's constant attempts at wooing his sister, Iliana. While Tokal does adore his closest friend, Kaleyha and Tsindran also like Korus for the fact that he aids in the growth of plants and brings the warmer weather in for summer storms. Not much is known about this Sovereign despite him being one of the oldest of the Sovereigns. He and his sister ascended many eons ago.
