Vetrstahd, the southernmost continent of Myrathis, is a land of extreme cold and isolation. Frozen and inhospitable, Vetrstahd is a place where only the hardiest creatures and plants can survive. Despite the challenging conditions, Vetrstahd is home to a unique ecosystem and a rich, albeit harsh, natural beauty.
The Frozen Wastes: The majority of Vetrstahd is covered in thick ice and snow, forming vast, seemingly endless expanses of white. Powerful storms and blizzards are common, making travel and exploration difficult and dangerous. The Frozen Wastes are inhabited by a variety of hardy creatures, such as polar bears, seals, and penguins, which have adapted to the extreme conditions.
Glacial Mountains: Vetrstahd boasts impressive glacial mountain ranges, formed by the slow and powerful movement of ice over millennia. These awe-inspiring formations dominate the landscape, their peaks hidden by clouds and their slopes covered in treacherous ice and snow.
The Hrímgard Sea: Surrounding Vetrstahd are the frigid waters of the southern polar ocean, teeming with marine life and dotted with icebergs. These waters are home to numerous species of whales, seals, and fish, which have adapted to the icy temperatures and thrive in the nutrient-rich waters.
