Durin and his followers began the arduous process of carving out the city's first tunnels and chambers, harnessing the volcano's heat to create a powerful forge.
As the city expanded, the need for more advanced infrastructure and safety measures became apparent. This led to the development of the Geothermal Power Plant and the Caldera Observatory to help monitor the volcanic activity and provide sustainable energy for the city's inhabitants.
