In her Oni sculpt, Arrow is thick build, with crimson skin. She is very quick on her feet and very agile. She participated in gymnastics in NCU and, and it translated well into her Oni form. She has two horns on her head, a long, whiplike tail, and sharp teeth.

Personal history

Scarlett was born in 2019, in Dallas, Texas. Her father was an oil-field owner who had traded the last of his fields to Petrochem, in return for a privileged executive position in the company, and her mother was a minor executive in the advertising who was climbing the ranks quickly, do to “skills” in social management. Scarlett was a stubborn child, but happy and friendly. She was very precocious in a cute fashion and became quite the set piece with her flaming red hair, ready smile, and sheer joy. From an early age, it was clear that she loved singing, and would often entertain her parents and their guests.
However, as she got older, Scarlett started seeing things that made her start questioning the corporate propaganda. But all of those questions were quickly answered and put to the side by her mother, an expert manipulator, while her mother started grooming her for a life in the corporation. Even so far as when she was 12, she hired high end joytoys to start teaching her daughter how to use seduction and sex to get ahead, or resist it being used against her.
When Scarlett was 16, however, she got her first actual dose of reality. She had met a young woman, Indira Achulez, while at the mall shopping for some clothes with some of her friends. Indira, called Shiva on the streets, was a beautiful edgerunner, who promised adventure and excitement to Scarlett. The two of them clicked right away. Since Scarlett was given permission to go to the malls and such, she would meet Indira, and they became lovers. Indira showed her the reality of the streets, what the corps were really doing to the people, and to the city itself.
Indira trained Scarlett in several weapons and how to survive as an edgerunner. Scarlett fell deeply in love with Indira, and the two shared many passionate moments, often in front of the crew, who mostly joked or ignored them. Indira who first named Scarlett “Arrow” because Scarlett liked crossbows so much.
For over a year, Shiva and Arrow worked together, the street warrior and corporate princess, backed by a nomad tech, and a medtech. Unfortunately, her father found out about the team and strictly forbade her to leave the grounds. After a few fights with her father, including one where he punched her, she ran away to Indira. Her father notified the Special Projects Division and requested a team to go bring his daughter back, and kill everyone she was with, making her watch, especially Indira.
The team was lounging in their shared safehouse, a converted warehouse that was older than any of them. Arrow was cuddling with Indira, post bliss, and the others were relaxing playing games. AVs broke the ceiling windows as a corporate strike team dropped down, rapidly killing everyone but Scarlett and Indira. Indira moved to protect Arrow, and Arrow grabbed her crossbow and shot at one of the men, to see the arrow bounce off his armor, and he laughed at her. Indira was shot in her leg and her arm, causing her to drop her gun and fall to the ground as the men cuffed her, as two of the men grabbed Arrow by her arms and the commander showed her an agent with her father’s face on vidcall. His words changed her life “I told you to stop seeing these people. They are trash, terrorists. I refuse to let you lower yourself to them. Commander. Have your men enjoy themselves and then execute her girlfriend, make sure Scarlett sees it all. Then bring her home. In cuffs if needed, clear?” The commander nodded, and looked at the men. "She is yours, have fun. We have 20 minutes." When they were done, he had Indira brought over. He stood behind Scarlett, took her hand, put it around a gun, and closed his hand over it. "You will shoot her, in the stomach and the chest. You will do it now, or I will have her dropped into a boostergang's base and they can all do what my men did." He raised her arm, with the gun, and fired twice, using her finger. Scarlett was sobbing, but Indira told her, do it.. And before he could take the gun away, Scarlett shot her in the head. Scarlett was then cuffed and dragged to an AV.
Instead of making her scared, her father’s orders, and the reality that Indira showed her, caused Scarlett to hate her parents, and made her want revenge against them. She started watching for any information she could use with her limited skills, she noted some of the people her parents were meeting with, and sometimes sneaking into her parents’ home office and finding small bits they carelessly left around. It wasn’t much, but it was a start to what she expected would be a path to destroying her father.
When she was 18, her father sent her to Night City University. She was never really a good student. But she made some friends who would be vital in her life.
When she was 19, she met David Torrez, son of an engineer at Petrochem, who had a pirate blog and had kept his name and work behind a false persona. David had been researching Petrochem and Biotechnica, investigating stories that ranged from illegal human experiments to mass murder. Scarlett was appalled, and soon was to learn another lesson, to keep quiet, or at least hide sources.
Scarlett went to the Petrochem building, to a small office set aside for her and called her father demanding answers. She told him about the pictures, the articles, accidentally giving him enough information that he could track down the leaks. His punishment came swiftly. David’s AV had a major malfunction when flying over the Hot Zone, causing it to crash in the most radioactive area of the zone. David’s computers were turned into smoking husks by a netrunner. In a final stroke of spite, David’s parents died horribly in a chemical spill accident days later. Scarlett watched in horror, as it dawned on her. David’s death because of her. She called her father, and he simply told her: “I trust you have learned your lesson. Be a good girl now.” She learned her lesson but had no intention of behaving.
When she was 22, she met a beautiful woman, Serena Jaziri. At first, she and Scarlett became close friends, and then moved in together. They spent nights talking to each other, forming a strong bond before they became lovers for a brief time. Serena Jaziri was the only person that Scarlett ever told everything to, all of her darkest secrets, from her father, edgerunning days, David’s death, even just how insecure she could get. Serena Jaziri encouraged her, made her stronger, and convinced her to open up and try new things again. This spurred Scarlett’s debut as a guitarist and singer. She would occasionally front for small bands that needed a singer, sometimes singing at parties, and often sang just for Serena Jaziri For her 25th birthday, Najwa Kali bought her a Killstrom Obsidian Chord guitar.
After she graduated from NCU, she stayed in Night City with Serena Jaziri for a time. Working a small job at Petrochem, and even taking security classes.
It was during one of these classes that she met Chance Reynolds. He said he was a senior security cadet and swept Scarlett off her feet. She introduced him to Serena Jaziri, who seemed to not trust him, and warned Scarlett she felt wrong about him. Sadly, Scarlett didn’t listen to her, and when Chance suggested they return to Dallas, Scarlett promised Najwa Kali she would see her again. For a couple of years, Scarlett would keep in touch with Najwa Kali via Worldsat, but that started to wane with time.
A couple months before her 28th birthday, while stealing information that her mother was directly working to cover up that the corporation had killed some nomads from the Jode Clan, she spied a meeting with her fiancé and her father, where Chance was giving a report to her father everything Scarlett was doing, and how he had started blocking Serena Jaziri's mail. While Scarlett was devastated, she started hatching a plan.
Scarlett had a new close friend, Tiffany Henrickson, who had become an occasional lover. Scarlett had even invited Chance to be with them. Chance assumed that Tiffany was just a friend with benefits, but Tiffany was a freelance fixer that was getting some things for Scarlett. But now, she was also plotting with Scarlett. Some of the things that she got her were a sword, a gun, and a pass for air-nomad transit to Night City, in return, she gave the information about the Jode massacre to the Jodes.
On the day of her wedding to Chance, she contacted Tiffany, told her where the wedding would be, and told her to have a car ready, but to come in and sit in the back. As the happy couple met at the altar and started their vows, Scarlett said, ‘I Don’t’ and took off the wedding gown, wearing only panties and garter belt and stockings, waved to the audience, and smiled malevolently to her father. She walked over to Tiffany, kissed her passionately, and walked out with her, posing for some medias, acting like a rockstar, walking slowly to the car, as Chance and her father walked out of the church. Neither followed her, but the look of hatred on Chance’s face made the blogs and screamsheets, along with a full video recapture of her slow walk to the car, making sure they saw everything.
A week later, Tiffany was brutally murdered by a boosterganger, while she and Scarlett were eating. Scarlett stood, pulling out her own H&K and shooting him, unfortunately killing him. She called Trauma Team, but Tiffany was already dead. Scarlett was taken back to the corporate offices, where she pointblank asked her father if he had Tiffany killed, and he said she was beneath his notice, he asked Chance, who said the same thing, but congratulated her on her first kill. Scarlett suspected he may know more but decided not to push it. She started her plans to leave instead, knowing the best time was coming up, the Founder’s Dinner.
Part of her preparations was making an appointment with Biotechnica to get the Demonique sculpt, setting up some clothes to be delivered to Biotechnica, as well as a conapt in Night City, and set up the flight. Then she ordered a dress made that was completely see through. She had an idea she would be told to leave, so she would be ready to go right after.
The night of the Founder’s dinner, she got ready, telling her parents she would be there a little late to the function, with one of her nice dresses hung ready to go. Once they were gone, she made sure her bag was ready to go, and finished getting ready. She covered the dress in a jacket and headed to the dinner. Just as she got to the door, she smiled at the assistant with her, handed her the jacket, and walked in as she was announced. As she strode in, just enough movement to make sure her assets were ensuring the attention of everyone that saw her, smiling at various executives, especially the CEO and his wife, winking at her. She then walked over to her parents, hugged her father, then her mother. The response was immediate, her mother slapped her, hard enough it knocked her back, but Scarlett just smiled back, saying it was nice to see her real mother finally. Her father erupted in anger, calling her a disgrace, and ordered the security to escort her back home. She smiled at her father and said “Thank you. See you later tonight.” Scarlett knew that would hurt her father, so she went peacefully.
She was escorted to her room, and as soon as the guards left, she left, using the car to get to a bar she often attended. She went in, and met some nomads, who took her out of Dallas to a waiting aerozep and headed to Night City. On arrival, she was taken to Biotechnics, and settled into her sculpting. What she didn’t expect was her father had shut off her accounts, allowing Biotechnica to finish the sculpt, but that’s all. When she woke, she had the clothes she had preordered and her gear, no place to live or money. She was informed that her ID was still active, but she could expect no help from Petrochem. When she walked out to the street, her first step was to call Serena Jaziri, to ask her help. She had a new mission: Do anything she can to destroy her parents. But first, she needed to figure out how to join the edgerunning community in Night City, and she needed a place to live.

Mental Trauma

Changed to Demonique form as a way to separate herself from her past. She has minor split personality disorder and considers Arrow the Oni to be very different than Scarlett. Will refuse, whatsoever, to sculpt back to human.

Intellectual Characteristics

Curious, but lacks focus and motivation to actually sit down and learn advanced subjects. She is of average intellect, but her lack of motivation means she has never done well in school. Najwa helped her get through her classes throughout her time in NCU. She also tends to be more of a listener than a planner. She knows that when she plans something, it sometimes blows up in her face.

Morality & Philosophy

She is keenly aware of the effect of corporations on the common man and the environment. While she knows she can't stop it, she does feel guilt and a drive to try and help people. But that desire to help is often superceded by vanity and anger to embarrass her parents. She also refuses to accept her own poverty and seeks to get money by whatever means she needs to. She has killed people and stolen things, she has done porn, and been paid for sex. She does not consider herself a porn actress or a joytoy, however.

She was a goto for parties in college, and has found her calling now. Scarlett will reach out as soon as she is settled.
Enemies:
Mason and Ashley Morgan: Parents. Both are senior executives at Petrochem and are based in Dallas. Scarlett discovered atrocities her father ordered, and she called him on it, causing a rift in the family. As a result, Jaqueline is now working at SovOil in Night City, changing to Demonique sculpt, and becoming an edgerunner. Both are currently working to send a message to her. Quit SovOil, or else. Jaqui wants to embarrass her parents so bad it causes them to lose status.
Chance Reynolds: Ex Lover/Fiancé: Petrochem troubleshooter. Scarlett left Chance at the altar after she saw him working with her father, and kissed another woman, before walking out of the church. Chance has never forgiven the slight. While he doesn’t know that she has changed herself into a Demonique sculpt, he has been transferred to Night City, and will no doubt cause her trouble. Jaqui could care less about him, unless she finds out he had Tiffany killed. Chance would love to get revenge on her.
