General Physical Condition

Rynelle does her best to keep a fit, and healthy body. She works out in her cube, and she walks when she can. She eats poorly but hopes to change that.

Rynelle has a very solid body. While she is no weightlifter, her exercises keep her core strong. When she moves, one can see that she has very toned muscles.

Facial Features

Rynelle's eyes are a very deep green. Akiko jokes that Biotechnica probably made them that way. Rynelle doesn't know, but it could be true, she thinks, after all both of her parents were geneticists.
Her nose is slightly crooked due to Hernandez breaking it.

She has three light tattoos:
Right Upper Arm: Red caduceus (medical symbol). Snakes have alternating Red and Black scales.
Left Upper Arm: Red and green dragon serpent holding a flag with her sorority letters.
Upper Chest: Yellow starburst moving from the bottom of her sternum, exploding into red stars in a half circle, bracketing an upward facing black crescent moon
She also has a skinwatch on her inner left wrist.

Physical quirks

Rynelle is a fidgeter, often spinning things in her hand when she is thinking. She is more mindful of it than she used to be. In university, she was spinning a scalpel and it slid, slicing open the side of her finger, there is a faint scare still.

Personal history

Born in 2020 at the Biotechnica Compound as Project 001-005, the child was the most viable of the clones yet. Biotechnica was finally making progress, and the company knew the child needed guardians to ensure her proper development. They chose Dr. Chase Davenport and Dr. Jennifer Cho for the task. Both scientists accepted the assignment, were given wedding bands, and moved into larger quarters to simulate a family environment. Their primary directive was to monitor her closely, report every detail, and take regular measurements. As dedicated researchers, they followed these orders to the letter. However, one thing neither could provide was love. They didn’t love each other and saw her only as a scientific project.
Throughout her childhood, Rynelle exhibited exceptional aptitude across many areas. She was clearly more intelligent, agile, and strong-willed than her peers. Despite these talents, she struggled to connect with others. While excelling academically, her social life remained sparse, and she had very few actual friends.
During a school field trip to the Biotechnica Food Facility, one of her classmates fell and severely cut their arm. Rynelle instinctively pulled out her personal first-aid kit—something she always carried—and skillfully cleaned, sutured, and bandaged the wound. Her teacher and the facility guide were astounded by her precision and composure. Following this incident, she was moved into specialized medical classes to gauge her potential. She thrived in these courses, quickly outpacing her peers and finding genuine happiness in her studies.
Discovering her passion for medicine, Rynelle began formal training at 16 and entered Night City University at 18. She adeptly balanced her social and academic life, joining the medical sorority Alpha Sigma Theta. There, she formed a close bond with Akiko Fukuhara, the daughter of Kiroshi executives. The two became inseparable, though Akiko’s influence was not always positive. They frequently partied, indulging in alcohol and occasionally drugs. Akiko encouraged Rynelle to open up and explore her identity, including her sexuality. Through these experiences, Rynelle realized she was far more attracted to women than men, embracing this newfound understanding of herself.
At 21, they celebrated their sisterhood with matching light tattoos—a jade and red Japanese serpentine dragon holding the symbol of their sorority, with "RD" and "AF" on either side of the dragon. Rynelle also inked the caduceus on her right arm, an emblem of medical science.
However, at 22, Rynelle received distressing news: her parents were missing, triggering inquiries from both NCPD and Biotechnica security. Accompanied by Akiko, she went to the Biotechnica Compound in a Kiroshi AV, finding no signs of foul play but discovering her parents' wedding bands—an item they would never willingly abandon. When she raised this with investigators, the Biotechnica officer unexpectedly closed her hand over the rings, instructing her to keep them. Suspicion lingered, but Rynelle hesitated to voice her concerns until she and Akiko were alone. Akiko advised her to refrain from asking questions that might unearth unsettling truths, explaining that clearly there was something more to the case but that she should trust NCPD and Biotechnica.
Days later, REO Meatwagon HR contacted Rynelle, offering to cover her education expenses and a job as a trauma medic upon graduation. Despite Trauma Team's superior reputation, she accepted REO Meatwagon's offer as an opportunity to aid those in need.
Shortly after graduation, Rynelle plunged into her professional career, only to confront unsettling aspects. REO, her employer, engaged in client poaching and occasionally extracted cyberware from the deceased. In her role, she honed skills for such extractions and developed a keen ability to identify cyberware components. Despite genuine efforts to assist, a sense of unease gripped her due to moral complexities.

Taking up residence in a cube hotel, Rynelle did her best to completely clean her cube and took stock of her belongings: a few medical supplies, a box of shotgun slugs, an old shotgun, her personal agent, clothes, a machete, and an Arasaka combat knife Akiko had given her. She knew she was embarking on a new chapter of her life but was determined to provide aid to those she could and make a difference on her own terms.
A week later, Rynelle found herself aiding Trixie Moon, a joygirl who had been injured by a violent client. As she worked, a friendship formed between them, and Rynelle told her to call if she needed help again. A few days after their initial meeting, Trixie called her, saying she felt like she was dying, having taken some drugs. Without hesitation, Rynelle rushed to her home, helping her and remaining by her side until she was out of danger.
Exiting the building, a suited man intercepted her, conveying his boss's desire for a conversation. He led her to a nearby car, opened the door, and instructed her to get in. The man inside, Elias, introduced himself and, while ensuring her safety, presented a proposition. Acknowledging her "crusade," he offered to supply her with necessities in return for owing him. This could involve unspecified favors or assistance to others, no questions asked. Elias gestured toward a Militech bag, stating it was hers if she accepted. He would act as her fixer, providing supplies and notifying her of jobs as they arose.
Despite her nerves, Rynelle recognized this as the only viable option to replenish her depleted resources. She agreed, inspecting the bag to find a complete medkit, drug-making supplies, and a superior shotgun to replace her old one, as Elias had promised. Grateful, she thanked him and departed, her confidence slightly bolstered, though she remained uncertain about the full implications of her new role as a mercenary medic.

Mental Trauma

She has PTSD from her first combat drop, and is very close to either getting medication, or finding a therapist. She is starting to realize that the world she thought existed, never did, and has her questioning everything about herself. And she wants to know what happened to her parents.

Intellectual Characteristics

Extremely intelligent and curious. She is able to diagnose injuries fairly quickly, and has much of what she learned in her mind. She does like to show off her intelligence, however.

Morality & Philosophy

Rynelle is highly ethical. She was raised in a very isolated envronment, and never saw the outside world. She only was allowed to watch things approved by her parents. While she knew bad things happened, and of course knows about the 4th Corporate war and big news items, she believes that, by and large, corporations are there to help society because government failed to do so. She doesn't particularly like Militech, or at least doesn't think they care much for the common man, and thinks Arasaka is dangerous. She truly wants to help people, and thinks that if people truly try, they can achieve great things. This is one reason she refuses to give up, even as the world is proving to be a lot worse, and whole lot more grey than she expected.

She also has a more carefree side. When she is with Akiko, she is truly free, and seeks a more hedonistic life.

Her motivation is simple. Help people as much as she can. She understands she needs money and understands sometimes she needs to do jobs she might not like.

Vices & Personality flaws

When she is with Akiko, she lets loose. She drinks, does party drugs, has sex with random women, and sometimes dresses in outfits that barely cover anything. Akiko encouraged this, mainly to have Rynelle try and have fun. Because of this, Rynelle is not shy, she is an exhibitionist, and has occasionally, when at NCU, stepped over some lines of acceptable public behavior. She assumes people know, or can find out, and would laugh if anyone tried to use it against her.

• Trixie Moon, Joygirl that lives down the street from her. Trixie and Rynelle are friends after Rynelle saved her life. Occasionally, Rynelle pays her for massages. While they have gotten very close to being intimate, it has not gotten to that point yet. Neither of them really wants it, for different reasons. Rynelle respects Trixie, and if anything were to happen, she doesn't want it to because she purchased her for sex. Trixie because she is already close to Rynelle, too close, and would rather keep it friends than ask Rynelle to pay her for sex.
• Jeff Ryan: REO Meatwagon Tactical Officer: Not exactly a friend, but someone who she can trust in REO, who might help her, if it isn't too inconvenient.

None, her parents have dissappeared. She has thier wedding rings, but has no idea where they are.

Social Aptitude

Rynelle is socially awkward at times. She has friends, and then people she knows. Every single intimate encounter she has had had zero emotions attached. She really doesn't notice when people have strong emotions for her, like she has not notice Akiko actually loves her. She knows she loves Akiko, but really doesn't understand what it actually means. One problem with her parents, is they showed concern for her, and encouraged her to learn, but never actually showed any love to her. Her parents were just there, raising her, encouraging her to learn, and then, were gone.
But on the other hand, Rynelle is a very confident person. She knows she's good at being a medic and has recently stepped into more a technician role. The only time she is not confident is combat, and that is changing thanks to her compatriots, whom, at least one she considers a friend. But Rynelle will always speak her mind, she doesn't hold back, and that has gotten her in trouble many times in her life. She can also be surprisingly aggressive, depending on the situation.
Part of that confidence is a knowledge that she is beautiful, and has no problem showing it off, she is somewhat an exhibitionist, and part of her gets a bit of a thrill of she is seen without her clothes.

Mannerisms

One thing she does often when thinking is either talking out loud, like she is organizing her thoughts, and spinning items to focus. She also occasional slips into medical or technical jargon, and unless asked, she will assume people are following her. She has a quite extensive inner voice, that when it slips out, is somewhat surprising to some.

Hobbies & Pets

She has never had a pet and would love to have one. The personal drones have her attention, and she wants one someday. If she lived in a bigger place, her hobbies include growing medicinal herbs, tinkering with things, and watching many forms of anime. She wants to learn Japanese more to be able to watch the ones that are not translated.
