Personal history

Nepherite hails from Felinastra, a lush jungle world nestled in a galaxy—or perhaps a dimension—she doesn’t fully understand. Her mission was clear: she was traveling through a jumpgate en route to the Imperial Seat to assassinate the Empress, when something went catastrophically wrong. Whether the ship malfunctioned or the jumpgate itself glitched, she never reached her destination. Instead, she crash-landed on an island owned by Helix Biotech. Injured and disoriented, she was taken in by the company’s personnel. They patched her up and informed her of her new reality—she was on a world called Earth, and her ship had been destroyed on impact.
It didn’t take long for Nepherite to realize she wasn’t a guest. Helix Biotech subjected her to rigorous experiments, testing her chi-magic, combat skills, and weaponry. They even confiscated her prized sword, Kiru Arashi—a blade of unparalleled craftsmanship infused with her chi. She was careful to hide her Zanryuu, her ability teleport short distances.
One fateful day, during yet another round of experiments, Nepherite noticed a critical lapse in their vigilance. The security team was distracted, and Kiru Arashi was within sight, lying on a workbench. Seizing the moment, she teleported behind a guard, killed him with one of their side arms, and quickly moved to reclaim her blade. She dispatched the technician working on it with ruthless efficiency, Kiru Arashi once again in her grasp.
Fully armed and armored, she utilized her nekoninja skills to navigate the facility undetected. Along the way, she coerced an IT worker into fabricating an identity for her in this strange new world. Once her cover was secured, she eliminated him without hesitation. One by one, she eradicated the staff, leaving no witnesses.
Eventually, she found the base's reactor room. In the center was a large, red button. On Felinastra, such buttons always signified self-destruct. Without hesitation, she pressed it. Instead of initiating an explosion, it caused the reactor to shut down abruptly, triggering an emergency lockdown that seemed to cause some form of catastrophic failure with no countdown. Realizing her mistake, Nepherite ran as fast as her legs could carry her, narrowly escaping the collapsing facility.
Emerging into the open, she spotted a boatyard nearby. Without pause, she teleported behind a man, killed him, and commandeered his boat, speeding away to the mainland.
Arriving in this strange new land, she saw no Nekos.. only humans. So she did her best to blend in, and using her newfound identity, and began gathering information. That’s when she heard whispers of Sin City—a place of super abilities, super science, and aliens.
Intrigued, Nepherite acquired a sleek red and black Kawasaki Ninja, the perfect machine to accompany her on this new journey. With Kiru Arashi at her side and her sights set on Sin City, she sped off toward the horizon, ready to carve out her next adventure—or find clients worthy of her formidable skills.

She knows she is a female, she sees her self as gender neutral. Gender on Felenastra is not really something they concern themselves with. Genetics can change gender in hours. Currently, she has both reproductive organs.
