Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Nepherite is a short, very fit, and lithe catgirl. She has excellent agility, and can move quickly when needed. She is not strong, but what strength she does have, she uses well.

Her eyes are the most captivating part of her face. They are yellow, with black, slitted feline irises. She plans on seeing if she can get them to shine in light. She also has purple furred cat ears, and no apparent human ears. Her teeth are much like a cat's, she has two slightly longer teeth in front, and then the rest are small, sharp teeth throught her mouth. She likes to smile menacingly, showing her teeth, when annoyed. She has a small cute nose.

Physical quirks
Since her change, she has grown a habit, much to her annoyance, of purring when she is happy. She also takes long stretches, partially because she knows it shows off her body, but she likes the feeling. Sometimes, she may pop out her claws to complete the look.
Special abilities
Nepherite has a number of alterations, genetically, psychologically, as well as mechanically that are not really good for her.
One, she has pleasure recepters tied to her fur and ears that when her ears or fur is stroked, it causes her arousal, the longer it is done, the worse she gets. This was done to always make her pliable and easily make it so she couldn't concentrate. She also has pleasure receptors in her tail, especially the base of her tail.
Two, Nepherite has been braindanced to have more feline instincts. She thinks like a cat, and has the personallity of a cat. She is jumpy, loves fish, as well has what she calls hunter kitty mode.
She hisses when angry, has a low growl, as well as can purr at different levels. In fact, her mood can be easily determined if a listener listens to the undertone of her voice. If she is happy, there is a slight purr that can be heard as she talks, this increases in intensity the happier or more excited she gets. If she is worried or angry, there is a low growl. It too grows in intensity the angrier she gets. If she is scared, it becomes a higher pitched growl. She doesn't react well to being surprised, and is known to scratch or bite when she is. If she gets injured, she has a chance to slip into what she calls feral or murder kitty. This mode has her biting more, and moving to kill whatever did the injury, ignoring what she was doing. She also has a tendancy to latch on to people. If she falls in love, she will stay with that person until they push her away. She tends to call this person her master or mistress. Not so much in the nature of a slave, but as an owner owns a pet. Mechanically, she is very limber and very quick. She likes to run and jump, and occasianally gets something akin to "zoomies."
Finally, Nepherite does not consider herself human. She calls herself Neko. She gets annoyed when called a nekochan or catgirl. She will always correct people and state she is Neko, and is writing a paper as to the introduction of Homo Neko, a scientific study into what makes her, and other exotics, no longer human, but a new species of humanity.

Personal history
Kaitlyn Nagano was born on Sepember 4, 2025 in the Nagato Hospital in Japantown. The normally prestigious hospital was dealing with the dead and dying victims of the nuclear blast at the Arasaka building, but her father, Hideo Nagano, was a surgeon, working for Arasaka and the Tyger Claws, and her mother, Akiko Nagano, also known as Dragon Queen, was a noted Tyger Claw enforcer, so they were given immediate care.
Her family home had been badly damaged, and they were moved to Watson to a fairly new building, and then to a megastructure that was being built, where Kaitlyn spent her childhood wandering the halls with her best friend, Alana. She would also spend a lot of time with her parents in their clinic, watching them work. As she got older, she started to understand, her parents belonged to the Tyger Claws, and she would be expected to be working for them too. She started learning how to use a katana that was laying around the clinic, with the anticipation she would be like her mother, a powerful enforcer. When she was 13, she would learn her path with the Tygers.
While out with Alana, the clinic was attacked. Her parents were both killed, and a lot of cyberware was stolen. Some Tyger Claw solders came to get Alana and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was taken to her aunt, Akemi, a madam who ran one of the Opulent Serpent Brothel. She never saw Alana again. Kaitlyn knew Akemi, had even been to the brothel a few times, and knew some of the dancers. What she did not realize, and only suspects in the present, Akemi had ordered her parents killed. Akemi saw Kaitlyn, an uncommonly beautiful young girl, would make her a lot of money, and she was in need of a new top earner. Kaitlyn was given a contraceptive implant, and put to work, proving to be a very lucrative earner. Akemi made sure Kaitlyn did not burn out, even arranging for therapists to ensure that Kaitlyn was sound enough mind to not become a liability. When Kaitlyn was 15, Akemi was informed she could receive other cyberware, and arranged for her Ms. Midnight implant, making sure she would be still be good for years to come.
Also at 15, a client cut her badly with rippers. Akemi saw an opportunity. She arranged her to get a cat biosculpt from a surgeon she trusted. When it was done, Kaitlyn was no more. She had chemskin that has a slight purple tint, soft downy fur on her body, luxurious purple hair, and her eyes were changed to yellow with slitted black irises. She had cat ears now, her outer human ears gone, and a short cat tail. Even her teeth were changed to cat style teeth. Her aunt had arranged for some added features. Her fur was highly sensitive to touch, and acted as a supercharged erogenous zone, she did the same with her ears and base of her tail. She was also braindanced to be more animalistic, as well as her vocal cords to be able to purr and growl. Both you can hear as an undertone when she is talking. The purr is happy or aroused, and the growl is angry or sad.
Akemi held another event and introduced her as Sutakina Murasaki Neko (Lovely Purple Cat). She was back on top of the earners. For the next couple of years, Kaitlyn would endure, eventually accepting the change, and becoming what Akemi wanted, a sexual creature who enjoyed her job.
By now, she was one of the longest lasting of the joytoys and entertainers. Most of her "friends" were gone, and she was gaining a reputation as a sort of "den mother" for the girls. She would also put her old skills in treating wounds, and even listening to the girls as an impromptu therapist. She also helped teach them how to be better toys as well as dancers. She would remain in the brothel for a couple more years, before a massive change placed her in a better position in the Tyger Claws.
At 19, there was an attack on the brothel by members of Maelstrom. She actively helped in the defense, picking up a sword, and using it with some skill. After the attack, she surveyed the wounded. Tygers were mopping up the last of the attackers, but she noticed their captain was badly injured, and dying. She grabbed the medkit, and tended his wounds, stopping the bleeding, saving his life. Akemi, watched, annoyed because knew she was going to lose her now.
A couple weeks later, the captain, Tommy Chang, had gotten permission to give her a chance to be a medic and, pulled her out of the brothel. She was moved to an old doctor's office in Japantown. There was an understanding that she would work on Tyger Claws first, no matter what was happening. The gang would make sure she had the supplies she needed. She was expected to make a profit, and if she needed to, she would be also taking clients as a joytoy, but on her own schedule, not under Akemi.
Over the intervening years, she would use sex to solidify some contacts, including a Trauma Team member, and Chang himself. She will sleep with anyone, for the right amount of money, especially if it will help her. However, it was during this time that would have her making a mistake and start her wanting out.
At 22, she was treating a street captain named Jun Long, who, in turn, assaulted her. She managed to dose him with a sedative, and in a peak of rage, removed his manhood. She managed to avoid official sanction, and even managed to get higher ranking people to give her one of his girls she wanted. But this would also show her, the Tygers were not on her side. Yes, this time they chose her, but Long and many of his allies, wanted revenge. She was protected by Chang, but she knew this could not last. She used the current sentiment to get new cyberware, scratchers and specially made vampires, for defense, and started training with a crossbow, as she was not allowed a gun. Chang gave her an old katana as well.
Now, 23, she has decided to start helping edgerunning crews to earn her own money, and more importantly, find friends that can help her escape the Tyger Claws, and protect her from their wrath. She has taken the street name "Nepherite" mostly because it sounded cool. She knows Chang will probably burn, and truly, she doesn't care. She knows Long will be an issue as well as Akemi still wants her back, and this time she will put a doll chip in her. She knows the odds are against her, but she will either escape, or die trying.

Even Jasmine, despite sharing her bed, has no idea, and won't be told until they are safe.

What morals Kaitlyn had have been scrubbed away by her aunt. She appears to be a loyal Tyger Claw, shows respect to thier leaders, and anyone above her. It also doesn't mean she isn't planning a way to kill them. As far as she is concerned, she can worry about being a better person when she is out of the Tyger Claws.
