Zhozhorrork are succulent plants that are grown at the base of the Kugma mountains and in the deserts surrounding it. The zhorrok plant has thick leaves that can be turned into strong fibers that can be used to make ropes, sacks, and coarse cloth. The plant lives for decades, but only produces a flower once over its long life. Cutting the flower stem before the flower is produced yields a sugary liquid called nogmûdzhyum, which can be used by itself as a sweet drink or sweetener or it can be fermented into an alcoholic beverage called tuf.
