Kepe

the Westernmost Yalisi island

The Yalisi Islands are made up of three islands: Mozu, the largest; Labu, the smallest; and Kepe, the one to the west. It has the highest concentration of Libo believers, who want to live further away from the wormstone that the Vopa priesthood worships.

Geography

Kepe is to the west of the other Yalisi islands and has a temperate rainforest environment. Because of the island's long shape, there are long stretches of beaches on both the east and west sides, but these beaches aren't very sandy, and the water has deep ocean trenches that can make swimming dangerous.   Because Kepe is made by volcanic activity, there are occasionally volcanic eruptions.

Climate

Kepe has a temperate rainforest climate. It receives a substantial amount of rainfall, but is not large enough to host a tropical rainforest or wetlands.

Fauna & Flora

Kepe shares the same flora and fauna of the rest of the Yalisi islands, including su vuto, su xidi, and mome fruit.

Natural Resources

Unlike the island of Mozu, there are no natural wormstone deposits on the island. The dense and thick forests on the island have a lot of dead plant matter and is often rich for farming purposes. Grain and fish farms have been irrigated and make up the majority of the southern part of the island.

Tourism

The main city, Lusibi, is not a tourist town, but a place where people escape the main pilgrimage sits of the largest island, Mozu. It can be a destination for those traveling with pilgrims but do not share the faith.
