Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Most timber is exported to the Rarons from the Veins, and the few remaining farms of dfiioonyo are protected under Raron law, so it is only for ornamentation purposes that one would use dfiioony wood. The stilts used for the Day of Zafeo are most often made of pieces of dfiioony wood, but most of these are heirlooms and are not being made with new trees.   The fruit is can be eaten safely. Often, the fruit will be sliced down the middle and have the flesh scooped out, where it is often mashed or blended along with ice and sugar to make a creamy dessert. The skin can be baked or fried and then dipped in flavored sugar syrup. It is commonly sold in Tyush, the greatest Raron marketplace. The catch, however, is the flesh of the fruit is a mild hallucinogen. People who have eaten the fruit report seeing auras around others' bodies or their own or else flying objects in the sky that are not the typical celestial objects. The tell-tale sign of having recently eaten dfiioony fruit is red, watery eyes, and swollen pupils.
