Taloran Tysillio Bravant
While surprisingly Taloran Bravant is not the oldest Guildmaster in Brimstone, the honor of which goes to Chief Arcanter Acaellius, he certainly looks the part due to his humanity. As he nears his eightieth birthday, he seems to have no intention of slowing down, even as he has led the Kevleyan Powder Guild for the last forty-five years. While the guild is also the oldest in the city, it had been outclassed by the newer Powder Guilds for some time until Taloran came to power. His push for quality and power to back it up has largely been seen as the driving force behind the Kevleyan Powder Guild's comfortable dominance for the last decade, especially as his Powder was used in the War of the Triple Alliance by the Tristanian Republic which ended up winning the war.
His age has seemingly only affected his body, not his mind, and he remains as sharp as ever, even as he is forced to move around with the aid of a stick nowadays. His leadership position has been not as secure of late as upstarts within the guild are chomping at the bit for new leadership, even though the guild remains at the top. Bravant has been able to outmaneuver them with ease, but the unrest lies under the lid, just barely.
As the longest serving guildmaster, he has a large and long legacy with his influence on the laws and structure of the city. He seems to be old friends with The Inspector, though this is mostly hearsay as one can never quite tell if the "Inspector" is ever the same one seen at the last meeting. Bravant seems ambivalent to the Inspector, even though during his long tenure, the Inspectorate has blocked or foiled some schemes of his. Whether his legendary control over himself has remained as firm as his mind is to be seen.
