The High Aetherians
A High Aetherian (also known as the Divine) is a classification for godlike beings that formed the ruling body of the Aether, the singular outer plane of light and order. In its center is a massive continent sized king known as "the Golden City".
Unlike the Nihilans, who are known to manifest physically in the world to their worshippers and followers, the High Aetherians do not appear in any physical forms. Instead they bestow their power onto certain devout followers who experience their wisdom in the form of wisdom and prophecies. Because of this, clerics to the Aetherians are among some of the rarest spellcasters in all of Mundus, despite some of the Aetherians having a widespread following.
An interesting thing to note is that in spite of the High Aetherians being classified as a collective pantheon, there are very few who worship them all together. Most known religions involving the High Aetherian are monotheistic.
