Fear demon

One of the mightiest among the emotion demons, given time the fear demon can feed on entire towns or cities. Fear demons rarely bow to greater demons, counting themselves among the greater demons. They often employ a host of Terror demons, Fearlings and when they've become greater overlords, also Despair Demon and Rage Demons. Among the emotion demons, the fear demon has one natural enemy : the Pride demon. Fear demons are known to appear as their opponent's greatest fear, rather resorting to mind-abilities and illusions than physical combat. Should this illusion be broken, they show their more true form : a hovering humanoid-size creature with a spider-like head fused with tentacles. It sprouts multiple spider legs which it can use in addition to its regular arms. Beware though, for a fear demon is rarely alone and among the most intelligent of demons.
