There are many gods out there not so recognized by the mass of civilization but are very well known and revered amongst their people. Gods such as Typhona, who is seen as the creator and mother to many of the monstrous races and creatures who live amongst the realms, or Lycanboran the creator of the Lycanthropy Curse.
The mission of a monstrous domain cleric is as varied as the monsters themselves, many just wish to share the name and power of their god/gods, many wish to carry out their will displaying the power and dominion of their god over the monsters, and others might just want to glorify the name of who they believe gave them their life.
There are many monstrous domain clerics who believe they were gifted them with dominion and power over the monsters of the many realms in order to bring them together and display their might over the “lesser” races around them.

Monstrous Figure
Starting when you choose this domain at 1st level, once per combat, you can transform, revealing the divine yet gruesome power within you. For one minute, you manifest a natural weapon. It counts as a simple melee weapon for you, and you add your Strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with it, as normal. You choose the weapon’s form each time you use this ability:
Venomous Bite - Your mouth transforms into monstrous mandibles. It deals 1d4 piercing damage and 1d4 poison or radiant damage on a hit. Once on each turn when you damage a creature with this bite, you can force them to roll a constitution saving throw, on a failure the target becomes poisoned for one minute, the target can re-roll this saving throw at the end of each of it's turns.
Armored Claws - Each of your hands transforms into a claw, which you can use as a weapon if it’s empty. It deals 1d6 slashing damage on a hit. Once on each of your turns when you attack with a claw using the Attack action, you can make one additional claw attack as part of the same action. If a creature you can see within 10 feet of you hits you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to block with your claws and roll a d6, applying a bonus to your AC equal to the number rolled, potentially causing the attack to miss you. This bonus only applies to the one attack roll.
Writhing Tentacle - You grow a lashing, long tentacle, which deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit and has the reach property. When you hit a creature with this tentacle you can attempt to grapple them, when doing this you can use your Wisdom Modifier instead of Strength for the grapple check.
