Lowengrube
The capital of the empire of the white flame. Lowengrube is built on multiple older settlements there are ruins of the pigmy giant empire and even elven ruins in the city. The modern city was originally built as the capital of the Kingdoms of Aurum a kingdom of humans that still survives to this day, and Aurixtor a kingdom of dragons that was swiftly destroyed after the creation of The Empire of The white flame, the two kingdoms ruled over the same land but their laws applied only to their citizen, the humans and dragons enjoyed many years of peaceful coexistence and even cooperation, some powerful human knights of Aurum even flew on the backs of dragons into battle. The city is divided into three large major districts each then subdivided into multiple subdistricts.
The Queen's District
Also called the King's district depending on the gender of the monarch, it's one of the two old districts and the largest in the city, it features many temples to lesser divinities still approved by the Church of The White Flame, and the large royal palace on the first hill of the city, the district is walled by the colossal walls of pigmy giant construction and the palace still has some semblance of elven architecture (probably rebuilt by the giants). It also has the largest tiefling getto in the empire.The Church District
Also called the Dragons' district, it was the part of the city where the dragons once resided, now it's loaned to the Church of The White Flame, the large dragon palace on the second hill of the city is now the largest White Flame temple on Mundus, imagery representing dragons has long been removed from the building but the architecture is unmistakably draconic for anyone with the culture. The district is walled by mighty draconic walls with large watchtowers where dragon knights used to perch with their dragons in order to watch for threats, now they are mostly used by griffin knights who fulfill a similar purpose.The Imperial District
Also called The Lion's district, it is the newest of the three districts built only after the foundation of The Empire of The White Flame, the imperial palace is built on the third hill of the city where a small defensive fort once stood, the district is also home to many military facilities including the imperial knight academy and the Imperial Arena where imperial soldiers fight duels to first blood to gain renown with the masses, the imperial knights' griffin hatchery is also found in this district, the district is walled with a modern wall that is still large but not as massive as the ones of the other district.
