Cloud Monk Monastery

Perched just above the cloud line on the tallest mountain in the Crag Spire Mountains sits the Cloud Monk Monastery. Home to the silent Goliath monks and a mecca for those seeking inner peace, the monastery has stood for thousands of years. Few make the 1,000 foot climb from The Giants' Staircase to the ancient temple, but those who do may find a new home and brotherhood within the wind battered walls.
Not much is known about the origin of the monastery. Some believe one of The Eleven began the order, but the structure is far older than The Eleven. Others claim it is protecting something inside the upper reaches of the mountain. The very few invaders and thieves that have ever made it as far as the monastery have not been heard from again.
