Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Much of Ro-Goth Bear-Eater's form is exposed to public view and, while he is covered in incredibly numerous scars, his tall, stocky form is still clearly in exceptional health.

Body Features

Like most goliaths, Bear-Eater is possessed of grey, stone-like skin, tattooed with his herd's markings, and also marks indicating his personal achievements. Also typical of most goliaths, he has no hair.

Facial Features

Bear-Eater has strong, thick facial features, with a broad, thick brow and jaw.

Identifying Characteristics

The tattoos of the Cloudwatchers, Bear-Eater's herd, are reminiscent of a tiger's stripes, striping his head and pointing towards his eyes. His personal achievement tattoos take the form of elaborate swirls of smoke which occupy his left arm and chest.

Apparel & Accessories

Bear-Eater does not wear much in the way of armor, preferring simple clothing, but does wear the pearlescent white and pink silk sash of the Opal Ravens as a bandana.

Specialized Equipment

Ro-Goth Bear-Eater carries a heavy, thick iron chain which he has employed as a weapon for most of his life. For the past seven years, he has also carried four small arms in bandoliers across his chest, and a jezail slung across his back.

Personal history

Ro-Goth Bear-Eater, born to the same herd as Grand Marshal Raena Skyring, though many years later, felt great admiration for the personal and martial growth of Skyring and, for a time, sought to emulate her qualities. However, he exhibited none of her talent with divine magic and, in fact, carried little of her devotion to Ao. When he realized this, he decided to grow for himself in his own way. He joined with the Opal Ravens to more directly and personally help the people of the Empire. While his personal manner is not quite so ostentatious and heroic as many of the chapter, he quickly became beloved of the people, fighting off monsters and bandits using only his great strength, discipline, and a heavy iron chain.
His journeys led him, eventually, to Morrgys, where he met the Chapter Master of the Amethyst Flames, Mikilos. Mikilos was reportedly offended at Bear-Eater's lack of proper armaments and so gifted him a set of his firearms. Together, they worked to develop a fighting style for an individual bearing Mikilos' firearms, and, later, Bear-Eater developed this into a strict discipline and martial art. Bear-Eater is now the most public user of firearms and a preeminent authority on their proper utilization in battle. In fact, his use of multiple firearms in conjunction with his chain and fists has earned him his nickname, "The Thundering Fist."
