Morzanna

The world of Morzanna spends most of the year in a deep dark winter. Most of the people of Morzanna spend the cold months hiding in pockets of warm civilization called havens. Those few who venture beyond the walls of the havens are called Outriders.   Outriders brave the frozen wastes in search of scavenge and resources. When a haven needs something in the dead of winter and no one else is up to the task, they send Outriders.   The world of Morzanna rests on bones of hubris. A world of technological and arcane wonder that lies dormant beneath frost and snow. The wonders of the the world before are the stuff of dreams to people today whose concerns lie with warming their homes and feeding their children.
