Kithea Republic

The Kithea Republic is often compared to the Ordiza Alliance though this a misconception. Yes both vote their senators to power which in turn decide who the head of state is though their head of state's role and senate compositions are quite a bit differnt. Ordiza is more like a collection of nations. Each nation selects one senator to serve on the governing body of the alliance and they vote on their President which serves as the head of their union. Kithea is a single nation and they have a set number of senators that can hail from anywhere in the republic and it is even possiable for every senator to come from the same planet. The High Chancellor is selected by these senators but serves more as a mediator amongst the senators and helps come up with compromises if the senate finds itself in a grid lock and explaining senate decisions but holds no real power.
