Shield Dwarf

Shield dwarves are a species of Morn. Their homeland is Shieldholme in Nilandra. Shield dwarves mostly live in underground cities with only small settlements having been built above ground. They share the land above their underground settlements with their Carenthian neighbours. Shield dwarven society is heavily centred around their clans, with each dwarf being born into their wider family's clan. The most powerful clans frequently fight for control of the throne of Shieldholme. Associating with members of other clans is acceptable, so long as the clans are on good terms.
