Nathradas

Nathradas, also known as the Black Serpent, the Nightbringer, or the Devourer of the Sun. is one of the three evil deities known to the world. It's alignment is Chaotic Evil, and it is most commonly associated with raw arcane energy, madness and chaos.

Appearance

Its form is highly unstable and constantly shifts and changes. It always has a black exterior and glowing blue insides. Wherever its volatile magic is altering its state of being, a hot red glow is covering the affected area which then fades to black through a gradient of sunset colours. The latter earned it its name of Nightbringer and Devourer of the Sun.

Personality

Due to its paradox state of existence, its personality can only be described as utterly random. It is just as likely Nathradas might give you a real blessing as it likely to curse you. It has little to no personal agenda, as that would require long-term thinking and anything beyond an hour in the future is anyone's guess.

Powers

Nathradas can assume any shape it wishes to, and range in size from microscopic to covering the entire sky in darkness. Its body is formed of raw arcane energy, it cannot be hurt by any non-magical means and anything magical that comes in contact with its form has a chance to disintegrate on the spot, or triggering a wild magic event as the Sorcerer Bloodline feature of the same name.

Pacts

It is highly recommended to stay as far away from this one as possible, even those with the most vile intentions tend to stay clear of its path. Not even the promise of near unlimited arcane powers is worth losing your mind to its touch. The few who have dared to ask favours of Nathradas regret this choice to this very day, as the most prominent side effect of being given a share of its power is suffering from random thoughts just as chaotic and paradox as its entire being.
