Languages

There is no "common" language spoken throughout the entire world, every culture and most races have their own languages. Some of these languages have spread far outside their original region however, and count as related languages. A character who speaks Coann fluently will have very little trouble talking to anyone from Glendann or Ybylind, and might even be able to understand some of the Dwarven of the Aerilon mountains.   Mechanically speaking this means if you know a language that has relatives, you can do an Intelligence check to try to understand or speak any other language from the same family.
