In the year 1038, a rider arrived in Frostgate with a report of a caravan raid conducted by a large group of Drow in the Grotish Desert. This event prompted the empire to take action, leading to conflicts and confrontations with the Drow forces.   In the year 1215, Frostgate faced a significant uprising when a large number of civilians attacked the Citadel, challenging the authority of the empire.
