Allune Coven - Allunari - Moon elves
The Allune coven are a peaceful and ethereal society that reveres the stars, the moon, and the cosmic order. They worship Allune, the Guide or the Wise Moon, believing that all life follows a divine and predetermined path laid out by the celestial powers. Their society reflects their spiritual beliefs, and they embody grace, diplomacy, and serenity in all things. They refer to themselves as Allunari while other races identify them as moon elves.
Allune’s followers hold the stars and moon in the highest regard, seeing them as divine symbols of guidance, wisdom, and the unchanging, infinite flow of the cosmos. They believe that every individual has a unique, sacred path in life, and it is their duty to help others find and walk this path, whether through diplomacy or gentle persuasion.
They value peace above all else, seeking to avoid war whenever possible. They emphasize negotiation, reconciliation, and mutual understanding, preferring words over weapons. However, if they must fight, they do so with a focus on protection—especially of the weak and injured. Their protective nature is compared to that of a mother defending her child, blending their faith with their fierce desire to preserve life. The magic of the moon elves reflects this as the most prevalent affinity is Light and Life magic which can be wielded to restore life or deplete it.

Shared customary codes and values
- The Divine Path: The Allunari believes that each individual has a divine path set out for them by Allune. Their purpose is to help others find this path and walk it with grace and understanding. This belief in fate is deeply ingrained in their society, and the path each individual walks is seen as sacred.
- The Importance of Peace: Peace is central to the Allune coven’s worldview. They view peace as not merely the absence of war, but the presence of love, understanding, and balance. War is seen as a necessary evil but one that should be avoided whenever possible. When they do fight, they do so to protect, not to conquer.
- Healing and Protection: Moon elves are deeply compassionate, and their healing magic is a reflection of their belief in the sanctity of all life. They are protectors by nature, and they view it as their sacred duty to heal and protect those in need.
Common Dress code
The Allune coven’s attire is often flowy, elegant, and celestial in nature. Veils of all types are the most beloved accessory as both a fashion choice and as a reverence to the Moonmother. They wear robes or tunic-suits in silver, white, iridescent blue, deep navy, or deep purple, reflecting the night sky. Their clothing is adorned with intricate silver thread that swirls in gentle spirals, reminiscent of stars and galaxies. Many also wear striking silver or white jewelry made as arm cuffs, hand chains, elaborate tiered necklaces, hair adornments, and earrings, often inlaid with precious stones, including but not limited to moonstones, sapphires, amethysts, or diamonds.
Veils play an important role in the culture of the Allunari and hold deep spiritual significance. They are not merely articles of clothing; they are symbols of protection, reverence, and connection with Allune. Throughout an Allunari’s life, veils are worn during all mundane AND important moments: from daily prayers and rituals to formal ceremonies and diplomatic relations. They are often attached to circlets, tiaras, chains, headdresses, and other headpieces to keep it secure and add to the beauty.
Common veil types
