Kaelen Thorne was born during a storm so violent it cracked the sky and set half a forest ablaze. His mother, a seeress of the Stone Ring, claimed the fire had chosen him—that he was born not from her womb but from the flame itself. Whether truth or tale, the boy was raised with that fire in his eyes and fury in his fists.
Kaelen was not the strongest among the barbarians of Albion, nor the swiftest. But he endured. Where others shattered against imperial blades or gave in to wyrdstone madness, Kaelen stood. He survived the loss of his kin during the Reaver Raids, the sickness of the black rains, the betrayal of the Flamebound, and the slow poison of exile. Every scar on his body tells a story. Every story ends with him alive—and someone else dead.
When the whispers of Mordheim reached the tribal circles—of black stones that burned with magic and death—Kaelen did not hesitate. He gathered those still loyal to the old ways: warriors who spoke in growls, remembered in blood, and prayed to stones older than Sigmar’s name. To them, he is not chief by bloodline, but by rite—Kaelen the Emberborn, the man who outlived prophecy.
