Backstory
Born in the frostbitten foothills of the Middle Mountains, Hrothgar Eisenfaust was raised where the land itself seemed to resent life. His village, Hochstöck, perched atop a jagged cliff pass, was known for producing woodsmen, beast hunters, and stone-faced survivors. Hrothgar was one such son—stoic, scarred, and sworn to ancient, stubborn customs. While the Empire’s great cities reveled in progress and Sigmarite refinement, the Ostlanders still told tales of trolls, forest witches, and gods older than Altdorf.
When the twin-tailed comet fell and Mordheim cracked open like a rotting egg, it was not gold nor glory that drew Hrothgar and his kin—but duty. The Emperor had called for stabilization. The Count of Ostland had demanded presence. And the druids whispered that the wyrdstone stench would poison the very roots of the earth if left unchecked.
So Hrothgar formed the Cragbound Fellowship, a company of hammer-swinging zealots, hunters, and superstitious brutes. With shield strapped tight and a stone stein of fermented bear’s milk at his side, Hrothgar marches through the corpse-strewn streets of Mordheim with one mission:
To tame the city or burn it down trying.
