Grandmaster Eldoran
Grandmaster Eldoran, the Last Ember
Knight-Commander of the Bretonnian Chapel Guard
"Ashes do not forget the fire. Nor do I."
Where most see only ruin in Mordheim, Eldoran sees a cathedral waiting to be reborn. Once a priest-knight of Grail devotion, he turned from the quest for the Grail to one far more grim—restoring faith among the ashes. Crowned Grandmaster of the Bretonnian Chapel Guard not by acclaim, but by the weight of silence and need, Eldoran became the unwavering heart of a scattered brotherhood.
He walks the shattered chapels and defiled crypts with solemn purpose, sanctifying rubble with whispered prayers and bloodied steel. Many say he communes with visions none else can see—of saints, of martyrs, of a city uncorrupted by wyrdstone blight.
Before the Fall, Eldoran was a revered questing knight and war-chaplain of the Third Crusade of Parravon, known for leading doomed charges that somehow became victories. When Mordheim shattered, he alone survived the collapse of his chapel. Some say the Lady herself pulled him from the wreckage. Others whisper he simply refused to die.
Now, as Grandmaster, he is the voice of lost gods and forgotten vows. His prayer does not beg—it binds. His sword does not seek—it judges.
