Backstory:
Once a noble scion of House Thornevale, Aldric was born among the frost-choked cliffs of Ostland. Raised in a keep that teetered on the edge of the world, his early years were defined by rigid duty and the cold silence of winter. A prodigy with the blade and unmatched in the art of mounted warfare, Aldric was destined to become the Warden of the Winter Marches. But a dark secret buried beneath his family’s chapel shattered that future.

On the night of the Winter Solstice, Aldric uncovered his father’s forbidden pact with a daemon of Shornaal—sealed in blood beneath the stone altar. Rather than keep silent, Aldric defied his kin, exposed the truth, and burned the keep to the ground. Branded an oathbreaker by noblemen and lauded as a hero by witch hunters, he vanished into the wastes.

He reemerged years later, cloaked in furs, eyes distant, bearing a sword etched with runes of judgment. They say the cold never leaves him. That his very breath freezes the air when he calls out heretics. He walks Mordheim now, the city of the damned, hunting those who make pacts in shadow. But something deeper calls him there—some unfinished verse of the requiem he began the day he burned his home.

  • Cold in temperament—his mercy is like the snow: rare, quiet, and fleeting.
  • Obsessed with eradicating corruption in all forms, even if it means walking close to the abyss.
