Knights of Valcen

The Order of the Knights of Valcen, commonly known as "Order Paladins," are a Zelist military order that arose out of the dissolvement of the First Inquisition in 11,212 PCC. At times the order has been the hand and sword of the church, answering only to the Sol Electus and the Knight Warden, and at times they have been purged by those they serve.

Tenets of Faith

Order Above All

Chaos is the enemy of all, and must be rooted out in whatever form it may take, regardless the cost. No sacrifice is too great towards the preservation of the order of all.

Unquestioned Authority

The word of our Order is the word of law. There will be no dispute, for hessitation breeds dissent and dissent breeds disorder. Our judgement is the judgement of Cazzdite, thus our judgement is justice.

Justice the Iron Hand

Mercy is a weakness, mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent. Those who seek to wrong the inncoent, and thoughs who part in crime or rebellion, shall face swift, timely, and absolute retribution. It is only thorugh fear that the order of all may be maintained.

A Divine Good

Your desires, your emotions are immaterial, the gods have no desire, and thus neither shall we. In the eyes of the gods, sacrifice is neccasary for the preservation of order, and if innocent blood must be spilled so be it. 

Purity of Law

All, regardless of station, circumstance, wealth, or piety must follow the law. The law is our shield and our sword, an instrument of purity through which we dispense justice, and we shall never waver in the execution of that justice. 

Loyalty Above All

Loyalty to the order above all is is paramount, and bertrayal of our creed, even in thought, shall be met with swift and severe punishment.

Strength in Unity

In uniformity we find strength, and in division we find chaos. To that end, it is our sacred creed to destroy all factions, groups, and movements that contradict the Order and it's will. Unity under the banner of the gods is the only path to peace, anything else is a path to chaos. The impure, the chaotic, and the revolutionary must be burned away for all to prosper; it is through absolute and total obedience that purity may be achieved.

Divine Vigilance

Chaos and Disorder do not sleep, an thus neither shall we. The watch is eternal, and our duty will not be finished until the last dissenters are extinguished.
