Ethereal Defense. Once per short rest, when the bearer is hit by an attack, they can use their reaction to gain a +2 bonus to their AC until the end of their next turn, as they momentarily phase out of the material plane, becoming more elusive to their attackers.
Ethereal Passage. Once per long rest, as an action, the bearer can speak the tattoo’s command word and temporarily phase through solid objects, such as walls or barriers, for up to 10 feet. While in this ethereal state, they are immune to non-magical damage and cannot interact with objects or creatures on the material plane. They remain in this state for up to 1 minute or until they dismiss it with a bonus action.
