Petrifying Gaze. As an action, the bearer can fix their gaze upon a creature within 30 feet. The target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 17) or become restrained as their body begins to turn to stone. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. If the target fails the saving throw by 5 or more, they are instantly petrified until freed by the greater restoration spell or similar magic.
The bearer must maintain direct eye contact with the target for this property to take effect. Creatures immune to being petrified are unaffected by the tattoo’s ability.
